as if him crouching before falling down changes much about thta height difference...

....but only if the fall height aint too big

it took me many levels to figure out that jumping aint what kills them. like when you for the first time stand next to an enemy and literally cant get far enough away to jump him

well, beat the game. never understood what the "unlock"/"lock" hp thing is good for except that pressing q repeatedly decreases my hp each time I press it, so I obviouslywouldnt do that

Also I wonder how you defeat the reaper?

Only logical place to ever hit him is when he is on one side of the screen.
but neither hammer, normal attack nor fireball do any damage to him.guess he is immortal and this is jsut the end of the game so far

oh and just realized:backtracking apparently isnt a thing either:just loaded the game up, as mentioend next to the chor fire guy.thought I should maybe go back to nina since I have like 336 crystals which have literally no use except buying stuff in her shop.
well 3 meters to the left and... oh yeah, there was a 2 lever door at the exit.which is not closed cause the levers arent active since some developers resets levers and everything upon death/respawn.and of course the levers needed are all somewhere on the other side of the door.

to be precise the last checkpoint I had was next to the fire guy.
and as I said, you get there the first time and light the lantern, so game saved and health restored.then you play for ages, getting the hammer ability, fireball ability and whatnot, doing the long segments to each of the levers for the 3 lever door .and die somewhere along the way.well, rip progress.EVRYTHING done or collected after the checkpoint is gone and has to be redone and recollected.even sh.t as simple as burning the vhine wall right there.
and as said, you naturally come by that checkpoint a few times while doing stuff.but can you , like any common sense would dictate, save there and basically save your current progress you have done?nope, cause lantern already lit and you cant save there anymore.
so you would have to go back to the (now unlit) lantern EONS ago in the last area (tons of dangers along the way back to there) to lit the old lantern.THEN go back all the way here to relight the current lantern.
so a 2 way trip so you can save on the same lantern again.
while dying anywhere in between obviously resets your progress on levers and stuff.
buig PITA that you cant do something as simple as "yo, I collected a health u, got the fireball ability and pulled 2 of 3 levers, lets SIMPLE AND EASY save on this areas about only lantern once again. ah nope, gotta do a world trip twice cause damn, one time use savepoints only I guess?"
Nuff said.

everything else about combat with its hitboxes, OBLIGATORY abilites like fireball unable to be done cause you lack energy for it, etc. were alrady mentioned by others as well.

sure the game is good, otherwise I wouldn't be playing it.
just sucks that you cant jsut walk to that one lantern you know in the area and save there whenever you feel like it.

just beat the game.

could be good IF you didnt lose everything after dying.Like sometimes you have to activate 3 levers, each hidden behind many hard puzzles.also had to burn some vines, push crates to laces, solve puzzles.
Also had collected some loot and abilites along the way.
welp, guess the 100th final bastard that you can rarely hit with your limited melee attack finally killed you.guess what?back to the last lantern, everything gone, everything reset!
and no, as it would be common sense, while you can run past lit lanterns, you cant "reignite" them or anything, so saving the game at said lantern again is impossible, except if you walk through all the hazards back to the last areas lantern and activate that!if at least one could save at lanterns always and not jsut at unlit ones -.-

finished it, but going by the menu I missed an upgrade (the third one)

hm, dont like the time limit for the levels.
I wanna slaughter everyone in the swordman towers level too!

would be nice if there were any enemies to fight :-)

esc maybe shouldnt restart the whole campaign but jsut open a menu with an option to return to the hangar...

hey I just started a run where I had bow as the default weapon.
but bought and witched to a shuriken.

had bought a few bow upgrades, including the 2 shot ones.
however I am doubtful if those upgrades are used for the shuriken?
Or does the shuriken somehow have it's own upgrades table?

oh yeah, good game.
the first cat chase was doable, but the second one was tight.

as mentioned, maybe just slow the cat down a bit.

well in browser that jsut closes the fullscreen first and foremost

you basically need pixel perfect input to have jsut barely enough time to make that last jump

yep secpnd chase sequence sucks ass. sorry it's jsut the truth.
Apparently you expect us to squeeze in a long jump at every possible end and during any kind of shorter or longer fall.
but for that the charge up time is jsut too long and 80% of the time you happen to release the button jsut shortly before it would be charged, so nothing happens, you fail down and have to look for a way to reach the cat so you can die and redo the whole thing again.

nice game, ut the cat chase sequences are too tight. can you make the cat a tiny bit slower?

jumped of the top right, now stuck at the fireplace at the title screen (the kaputt knowledge platform) XD

I had all the upgrades, just had it run for another minute or so.thats when it happened

fun fact:you can kind of softlock yourself out of the ability to remove/change cards:you initally start with 20 tools.didnt even know their purpose until late game after the final boss when I tried checking out other cards for fun.at some point I had a full deck again but only like 6 tool left.
Basically if I had used up all tools by removing cards and hadnt put at least one tool card in, there would be no way to get tools ever again.so I couldnt remove cards anymore and therefor would be stuck with the current deck.
wasnt an issue for me given how good I am (lol) but if I were to type to frequently change my deck I would hve early on encountered this problem.
just imagine it:
you have an attack and buffs only deck currently, already using the max possible capacity and got no tools.no problem for the moment. but once you get to the next enemy, your strength might be inadequad so you would like to change your dekc up.but guess what?

you cant cause no tools left from the previous card switches.unlucky you.if you didnt at least have a tool card in your belt (which we assume you dont) and you have no upgrade card either, then your strength cant grow, you also cant change to a growing strength kind of deck.yep, softlocked due to strength unable to increase anymore.



just saying, not an issue for me but thought of it here.

maybe make buying single tools at pretty high gold price, so it is at least possible to escape the softlock sooner or later.

after getting all upgrades and running for a bit, i got this error:

well they dont seem to do anything, those left/right arrows. despite me having more than 5 coins.
everyting else works, only those ones dont seem to work

no idea how to increase their speed.
I have more than 5 coins but no button on the topright speed panel seem to do anything

sorry. unplayable cause enemies have like 100 times your speed and instantly swarm and sit on your spot

ehm why the fuck are the enemies having super speed, so after the second they spawn they all rush towards you and all sit in your spot, all within like 0.5 seconds?


their speed is jsut ridiculous, making the game impossible

well ant buy any collector despite havin 2k coins...

the game could use some explanations for what the bottom right things do, and how or if it affects health deterioration.

yeah monster doesnt seem to do any actual damage.its jsut there to be annoying . and to destroy the boxes which I had almost pushed to the position I needed it
